Hey there! We are thrilled to introduce you to Terra, a harmonious member of our Las Madres community, who's graciously agreed to share her journey with us. Terra's story is an example of the power of community and finding your village in parenthood, especially in the whirlwind adventure of moving across the country, being an entrepreneur and still pursuing your own passion. From musician to Mom Terra's journey has taken her across many stops on the map, from Missouri to Texas and now to the heart of our Las Madres community in San Jose, CA. With a background in music education at the University of Texas and a passion for nurturing young minds, Terra wears many hats – from being a stay-at-home mom to 2,5 year old Tad (short for Thaddeus) to teaching violin and viola lessons (you can learn more about her music classes here ) and running the String Project at SJSU. Juggling Parenthood and Work: Finding Balance in the Chaos

Hey there fellow parent warriors, I’m Dolores, a full-time mom, wife, and delusional multitasker . By day, I'm immersed in the world of medical administration, but by night, I unleash my inner creative side and oversee my small business, Blessed Sweet Treats. And if that's not enough, I'm also the team parent for my son's t-ball squad - because, let's be real, us moms always add a little extra to our plates, right? (Hey, it's all for those core memories we're creating for our little ones!) When I'm not wrangling chaos, you'll find me brunching with my fabulous brunch crew or chasing after my charming, hilarious, and oh-so-sweet 3.5-year-old son. Oh, and did I mention the exciting news? Our Las Madres Spotlight Blog- Tryphena Gohmann

Without their willingness to go above and beyond, Las Madres would not have such an amazing community spirit. This week we would like to recognize Tryphena Gohmann as the Las Madres Spotlight Member. Ever since July 2016, a few months after her eldest son was born, Tryphena has been connecting with and helping to create a community with the other moms and families in her South Valley/Almaden 2016 and 2019 playgroups. She has two children, Calvin (almost 4 years) and Zeke, (6 months) and is the Co-Director for her 2016 and 2019 South Valley/Almaden playgroups, CC2020 Big Sister Treasurer, and was previously the Treasurer at the Executive Level for Las Madres in 2019. She takes on all of these responsibilities so graciously, along with her full time job at Google.
